    • 1851 - Construction completed
    • 1852 - Purchased by Henry Stuart Russell
    • 1915 - Leased to Creche and Kindergarten Association as a teacher training centre
    • 1918 - Acquired by the Australian Government to accommodate servicemen of World War I
    • 1969 - Brisbane City Headquarters of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF)
    • 1987 - Added to the Commonwealth Register of the National Estate
    • 1995 - Shafston International College is established
    • 2000 - Shafston facilities open for weddings
